Description

Mini-Swing is a child-sized sleeveless top with an I-cord gathered neckline featuring a back keyhole opening and side vents at the hip. Worked from the top down, the front and back are each begun with a provisional cast on and knit-in hem, worked side-to-side to the underarm with increases along each edge, then joined and worked in-the-round through waist shaping. The body is then divided for working side-to-side for the hip vents. An integral seed stitch border minimizes finishing work. The final detail is a knitted I-cord tie that is threaded through the neckline hem.
